Join JVP Portland for a powerful Week of Action!

All struggles for liberation and justice are intertwined. True safety is found in solidarity and coalition building. As a local chapter of JVP, one of the best ways we can support Palestinian liberation globally is by showing up for Black, Palestinian, and Indigenous-led organizing in our own community.

JVP Portland is honored to be joining over 20 amazing local organizers like Don’t Shoot Portland and Resist US-led War PDX for a series of direct actions, marches, and rallies to kick off the new year. So mask up and join us for this week of action!

  • Info Session and Workshop on How to Give Public Testimony

    Tuesday, January 14, 6-7 pm on Zoom
    Join us for an info session & public testimony drafting workshop.

    To make our voices heard by Oregon’s decision-makers we will be collecting written public comment and mobilizing turnout to the upcoming Oregon Investment Council (OIC) meeting.

  • Don't Shoot Portland- Community Art Build

    Saturday, January 18, 11-3 pm
    Join Don’t Shoot Portland for their     Reclaim MLK Art Workshop at PNCA

    Community printmaking for Don’t Shoot Portland’s 11th Annual Reclaim MLK March. During this art build, you'll have the chance to work alongside talented artists and activists, using various mediums including screen printing. Come make art with us.

    Join us to stand with Don’t Shoot Portland organizers and affirm that the liberation of Black, Palestinian, and Jewish lives is all interconnected. Don’t Shoot Portland has spent the last eleven years organizing for Black Lives, making this city safer and stronger. JVP will be there!

  • Rally at the OIC—Demand Ethical Investments!

    Join us in solidarity at the Oregon Investment Council (OIC) public meeting in Tigard! We're aiming to pack the room with supporters. Whether you give in-person testimony or not, your presence matters. We'll stand together, holding signs and showing our strength in numbers.
